Watford Constituency
Biography:
Gary Ling cut his political teeth in Watford as Chairman of the Young Conservatives, Political Chairman and Association Chairman of the Watford Conservative Association. He has been a Watford Borough councillor and has stood for Watford Mayor.
As a previous parliamentary candidate, Gary stood in the Eccles constituency. From 2014-2016, Gary worked in Brussels and Strasbourg as Head of Communications for a member of the European Parliament. In 2016, Gary was one of the leaders of the Watford Brexit campaign, resulting in the Town voting YES to Global Britain.
In business, Gary helps companies and organisations monetise their data and propositions. He was educated at Durrants School, Croxley Green; Greenwich High School (Conn, USA); the University of Aberdeen; The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst; and BAYES Business School, London, where he earned an MBA.
