Torridge and Tavistock Constituency
Biography:
Born & raised in rural Oxfordshire with my two older brothers, I grew up in the village pub of which my parents were landlord & landlady.
From a very young age it had been my dream to join the Army and this dream came true when at the age of eighteen, I walked through the gates of Woolwich Barracks.
After completing the All-Arms Commando Course, I was awarded my green beret. I then spent the next sixteen years based in Plymouth at The Royal Citadel.
Upon leaving the Army I returned to my roots & set up my own successful tree surgery business, however after four years an opportunity arose to work in the Middle East, this lasted for nine years.
I met my wife during this time and we made the decision to relocate back to the UK, securing a contract working with Network Rail clearing trees & vegetation. Six years later & after the birth of our son we made the decision to move back to the Southwest region to be closer to my wife’s hometown & family.
Since our move I have been an active member of my local community, joining the Parish Council & have since been promoted to Chairman.
I have always had a keen interest in politics; however, it is now clear that the two main parties are no longer representing everyday people and do not have theirs or the countries best interests in mind.
Reform UK is for me the only party that will restore integrity & pride in our country, with common sense policies, it is Reform’s vision to put our nation’s interests first and foremost.
It is now time to break the two main party system & make Britain great again.
Standing for Torridge & Tavistock my focus will be:
Farming/Fisheries
Local Infrastructure/Housing
Local Businesses
Families
I want to work with the local people & grow our communities into the best they can be.
I look forward to getting out there & meeting members of the public. It is now time to get stuck in.
