Moorcroft brings a wealth of experience to the table, having served in various capacities that reflect a deep commitment to public wellbeing and entrepreneurship. A seasoned professional with a background in information technology and Artificial Intelligence he is currently a councillor on Frodsham Town Council.
He has a forward-looking vision for the community with a comprehensive plan to address the pressing issues that affect us all. From economic revitalisation to social justice initiatives, Moorcroft is dedicated to creating a future that is inclusive, sustainable, and prosperous for everyone.
Born in Chester, Moorcroft was raised in Frodsham where he now lives with his wife Nicola and daughter, Saffron. Having lived and worked in the area for all his life he feels that although most things have deteriorated, they are not lost and believes it is the responsibility of our generation to ensure our values are not forgotten.
He now wants to bring back the prosperous days of opportunity he had benefited from when working at the Heath for ICI during the 80s and 90s. Moorcroft advocates having a local, strong industry brings wealth to the high streets, schools, and communities reportedly stating “I have the vision to lead us to a new era of prosperity. I have the will to demand Parliament does not forget Runcorn. I need the support and votes from our people to give me the mandate to do it.”
Moorcroft will be campaigning on the streets of Runcorn and welcomes people to get involved and let him know what is important to improve their life.

Constituency Information
The constituency will comprise the following areas: Helsby, Frodsham and the parts in the Borough of Halton currently in the (to be abolished) constituency of Weaver Vale, comprising about half the electorate. The town of Runcorn, currently part of the constituency of Halton - the majority of which will form the basis of the new constituency of Widnes and Halewood. The Gowy Rural ward, including the village of Elton, transferred from Ellesmere Port and Neston.
