Biography:

I was born and raised in South Yorkshire (Doncaster), having lived in Doncaster for most of my life I moved to live in Dinnington just over 14 years ago (a true Yorkshireman). 

My Grandparents, Parents, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins have either been born and/or lived throughout the region including Sheffield, Doncaster, Aughton, Swallownest, Maltby and Rotherham, so I know the area and people well, clearly having an affinity to the region. Both my Grandparents were in the armed forces and fought in the 2nd world war, one Grandfather was in the Royal Navy and survived however the other was in the Coldstream Guards and was killed on D-Day on the beaches of Normandy, so the recent D-Day 80-year commemorations were quite poignant for me, patriotism and the love of my country therefore sit close to my heart.

If elected, I will stand up and be a voice for the people of Rother Valley, calling out the failings of both the previous Conservative and Labour governments as well as standing up to the new government, whatever that will look like after the 4th July.
