Reform UK Shadow Chancellor Robert Jenrick has confronted a thief who stole from a Greggs store in broad daylight, in a new video highlighting the shoplifting blighting Britain’s high streets.
Sharing the clip, Jenrick wrote: “Shoplifters are running riot. Parts of the country are feral. If nobody else will confront them, I will.”

Reform UK’s Shadow Home Secretary, Zia Yusuf, has also warned that Britain’s high street shops are being “robbed blind by foreign criminals”.
He pointed to the case of an Algerian asylum seeker who stole more than £21,000 worth of goods before being caught, and another asylum seeker who racked up around 50 theft-related offences but was spared jail.
“You are paying the price”, Yusuf said, pointing to “hollowed out high streets” and “products locked away in cages”.
“You will never enjoy the quality of life you grew up with until we crack down.”
He pledged: “Reform will rapidly expand prisons, radically strengthen sentencing, and deport all illegal migrants in order to restore law and order to our streets.”
