Biography:
I am a writer who has lived in Warwickshire for over 40 years. You can check my CV at https://steveattridge.com/. In my early years I also worked in factories and offices.
As well as writing TV, film, books for adults and children, I have taught and lectured all over the world.
I am passionate about free speech and placing the individual at the heart of all politics.
Having worked a great deal in education, I am concerned about our schools and colleges teaching critical race and gender theory at the expense of imparting knowledge, skills and critical thinking, all of which are crucial in enabling our children to develop into responsible adults.
I support protecting our borders and would love to see law and order rise back above woke fears of causing offence. The traditional major parties have lost their bearings and are crammed with career politicians, who, for the most part, have not worked in industry or business, education or the arts, have not risked starting their own businesses, just want to join the Westminster feeding frenzy of salaries, expenses, privileges, desperate to gain and retain power over us at all costs.
Reform UK’s intentions are honest and the people I have met in the party have all worked and struggled, and now wish to give something back. Freedom takes centuries to gain, but can be lost in a single generation.I would like to play my part in restoring it to where it belongs – with the people of this country.
